Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, evenly spread the drained peaches across the bottom.
In a separate bowl, mix the yellow cake mix with the ground cinnamon and brown sugar, ensuring everything is combined well.
Sprinkle the cake mix mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top, making sure to cover the cake mix as much as possible.
If using, sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the butter layer for added crunch and flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Optional: Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra creamy touch.
