Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or ground chicken for a lighter option)

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon gochujang (Korean red chili paste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

For Spicy Mayo:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon gochujang

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sugar

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, gochujang, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy mayo by whisking together the mayonnaise, gochujang, lime juice, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust sweetness or spice level according to your taste.

Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Drizzle or dip the meatballs in the spicy mayo before serving and sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.

                Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 40 min | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the meatballs on a platter with a bowl of spicy mayo on the side for dipping. Garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds for a pop of color.
