Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Use a spatula or electric mixer to blend until smooth and well-combined.
Add the chopped dried cranberries, finely chopped pecans, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to the cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands. If any ingredients are sticking out, gently press them into the surface.
Once formed, wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up. This helps the flavors meld beautifully.
After refrigeration, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in additional chopped pecans, pressing gently to adhere.
Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter and garnish with fresh herbs for an appealing presentation.
