Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a clean surface.
Place a generous spoonful of the cheesy chicken mixture at the wider end of each triangle.
Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges well to prevent any filling from leaking out.
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
