In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and minced garlic. Mix until well blended and set aside.
Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter evenly on both halves.
Place the loaded bread on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
While the bread is toasting, in a medium bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to mix.
Once the bread is out of the oven, remove it from the baking sheet and let it cool slightly.
Spoon the tomato-mozzarella mixture evenly over the toasted garlic bread halves.
Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the top.
Return the loaded bread to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to warm everything through.
Remove from the oven, slice into pieces, and serve warm.
